I received my ordination on March 7, 2018. I`m pleased to say I'll be officiating a wedding on March the 30th. Thank you for making this possible, for having all the materials I needed and the fast and friendly service. God Bless

We want to make sure you have the information you need to help in your minister endeavors. Our ministry does not charge membership fees, ordinations are granted for life and credentials do not expire. Open Ministry is registered with the State of California; with the purpose to guide and support the church in its mission, outreach and community services. Our Ministry has the right and privilege to ordain ministers, our ordinations are valid and good for life. Our ministers have the same powers and rights as ordained clergy for religious ceremonies, weddings and other sacerdotal rites. Ministers are granted the ability to perform the sacrament of marriage, among other practices protected by our constitutional rights; and freedom of religious customs without restraint as guaranteed by the First Amendment. Your ordination is granted to you by our Senior Chaplain from our church in California.
As marriage laws vary in each state and county, it is important to be familiarized and know the ministerial requirements set forth by your state and local government. States can require official documentation to register with the County Clerk or Agency that records marriages in the County you want to perform ceremonies. Contact the county clerk or agency that will be issuing the couple’s marriage license for information.
When speaking with the county clerk; it can be helpful to use the following phrases:
• What agency or department issues marriage licenses in your county and how may I contact them?
• I am an ordained minister with Open Ministry and I would like to register as a wedding Officiant in your county to perform and solemnize weddings.
• I have my Letter of Good Standing and/or Ordination Credential as proof of my ministry and ordination.
• What additional documentation is required for me to register as a wedding Officiant in your county?
If your county and state has discriminated against you as an ordained minister and you have been denied registration as a wedding officiant, please let us know so we can offer additional help and support. We are pleased to offer you our services; we appreciate your support of Open Ministry. If you have questions after reading our Minister Guide, you can visit our informative FAQ section for more helpful information.
Grace & Peace,
Open Ministry

It is a true blessing to be able to contribute to the common good by being an ordained minister. It increases your self-confidence, your faith and your commitment to the Gospel.
The service provided by Open Ministry is professional, fast & friendly; and the fees and shipping expenses (as a citizen of the EU) are very reasonable indeed. Knowing that you are also contributing to a charity makes it all the more worthy.
Highly recommendable.

I live in Belgium. Sadly, the ordination is not valid here. Here, to be a minister, you need to go to university for 6 years

I do God's work on a daily basis and thought that it was only fitting that I get the credentials that go along with the job that I do for others.
